But all have well established big apps/suits/instruments which aren’t necessarily suitable for a subscription model, plus a huge user base who own perpetual licenses. The only thing I see negatively if they really swing to subscription only (NI has now and PA has whatever their sub & voucher system is, dunno if Izo offered any). After all the plugin market is pretty stale and vastly cluttered and these companies now joining aren’t your mom & pop devs around the corner, but already well integrated big players in the audio landscape. I also don’t like to listen to the doomsayers on stuff like that. PA just runs laps around the competition for me when all things are considered. *Sidebar*: I've had a similar experience with those plugs in PT. In his own words, he was once 50% shareholder of BRA prior to leaving in 2017 to start his own venture and he did all the DSP modeling for their releases that year. Reimund has created a huge portfolio of leading modeling titles for brands like ACME, Black Box Analog Design, Black Rooster Audio, Elysia, Millennia, Neold, Vertigo, and many others available on Plugin Alliance and the UAD-2 platform, while his very own designs remain 100% pure Fuse Audio Labs.

You won't see a crazy wikipedia page for him etc but the man has coded for bx, BRA, UAD-2, PA, Neold, and Fuse Audio Labs (which is where his entirely authentic stuff is).

Should probably clarify that I was referring to BRA-era stuff, but to your question, Reimund Dratwa is the connection.
